Jan 04, 2017 · ApexRon - I appreciate your post regarding the Airport Extreme with an AT&T device for Uverse. It is above my head in many ways and I am wondering whether you can refer me to something I can either do myself, which would be step to step, or another resource to help me get set up correctly. The Apple Extreme's Router function has to be put into Bridge mode so it acts as an Access Point. I implemented this set up in 2014 and works without issue. It's a personal preference, on the Apple, I use different SSIDs to those on the Telstra Modem so that I know which network I am connecting to when upstairs. My Extreme is connected to my modem/router via Ethernet. I also have an Express elsewhere in my house in "extend the network" mode that is connected wirelessly to the Extreme. Is bridge the correct setting here? What's the difference between the two? Thanks in advance. We've always known Apple for their mobile devices and Open the Extreme Networks Support Portal. After logging in, go to the product registration page. Enter the switch’s serial number. Download the software to your PC from the software download page. Connect back to the switch using the console port, and connect an Ethernet cable from the switch’s management port to a serial port on your PC.
You need to update OS X before setting up a wireless printer, because OS X has software for each printer included in new updates. Choose Apple menu > App Store and click Updates, then Update All
The Airport Extreme Software is a pleasure to work with. Even if you are challenged by setting up a wireless network, you should know that setting this one up can be as easy as setting up a wireless password.
